Repak ELT is launching our state of the art security system, which includes a fully operational Black Box for quarter one (Q1) reporting, which will open next Monday 11th April. Repak ELT operates secure encryption and handling procedures for all data submitted in tyre reports. The system is fully electronic and is dedicated solely to tyre data. It includes best in class Cisco firewalls and a fully operational Black Box with up to 256-bit encryption.
Repak ELT’s Black Box uses the same high level security framework of software, developed and implemented in electronic reporting and encryption, in the banking industry. The web portal will be issued with Symantec PRO SSL certificates, which support 3 encryption algorithms, RSA, DSA, and ECC. The pro certs also gives full business authentication which verifies your business identity and domain ownership.
Repak ELT also uses Outpost 24’s SWAT system across its web infrastructure. The Secure Web Application Tactics (SWAT) is the most accurate vulnerability management solution for web applications available in the market. It provides a combination of state-of-the-art web application scanning tools, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
All reports submitted for the November/December 2015 period have been handled in the strictest of confidence and are held in an encrypted security system, with data submitted by paper, email or as scanned copies being destroyed after 90 days.
All security systems in Repak ELT undergo independent auditing from international security experts. The security policy in operation follows international best practice and covers all data management.
